The Board of Directors is the governing body of Ohio Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Association. The Board receives and acts upon the recommendations of the State Adviser relative to the management of personnel, programs, and financial matters. The Board consists of the Assistant Director of Family and Consumer Sciences in the office of Career-Technical Education, Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, who will serve as its chairperson, the State Adviser, who will serve as Secretary, up to ten elected student officers, one representative from the Ohio FCCLA Endowment, one post-secondary teacher educator, one industry representative, one local school administrator, one Family and Consumer Sciences supervisor, three Family and Consumer Sciences educators, one Education and Training educator and one Hospitality and Tourism educator.
